If you import your blog into Facebook as a Note, you may have noticed that it can be really, really slow to show new posts.
But if you don’t have the patience to wait for Facebook to update your Notes, you can manually refresh the Notes app and force Facebook to re-import your RSS feed in just two steps.
How to Manually Refresh RSS imports in Facebook Notes
- Go to your Facebook Profile and click on the Options link to the right of your Wall.
- Click the Settings link to the right of your Wall.
- Under Imported Sites, click on the Blog/RSS hyperlink and click “Update Nowâ€.
Once it refreshes, you should notice the Latest Story has been updated and will now be posted to your wall.
Thanks for fixing this!
Thank you, thank you, for publishing this force-fix. So simple, once you know. Much appreciated.
Thanks so much for this fix. I’ve been looking for a way to do this for a long time because Facebook usually takes days to import.
Thanks for the tip.
I wish there was something similar for Pages as the RSS import there is usually not working or very very slow.
worked wonders! slow publish is such a headache thanks =)
thanks a lot…i’ve been battling with stupid facebook import for a while now
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!
I had been looking all over for this! It’s so annoying that some posts show up in 45 minutes and others take like 3 days. I had almost given up on finding this option! 🙂
Thanks for this tip! I just used it and it worked fine!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I was beyond the end of my patience for Facebook’s 48-hour update cycle…
