I got this email from Apple today (despite the fact that I have already purchased, installed, and registered Leopard).
Judging from my experience and the experience of a couple of people, I don’t think I would have chosen the “it practically installs itself” as a slogan, seeing as it basically… does not.
Aside to Snarkwife – this one’s for you!
Gee, I wonder if my wireless connection will hold up long enough for this comment to post?
So advanced, it practically dials the phone for you when you call technical support. 😉
LOL at your last statment. I can hear it coming out of your mouth as I read it. Too funny.
I thought you’d get a kick out that, Snarky.
Just to be clear, I’m talking about this one – “‘it practically installs itself’ as a slogan, seeing as it basically… does not.”
By the by, my wireless issues seem to have resolved themselves…my connection stability skyrocketed as soon as I…wait for it…plugged the power cord in. I realized I was experiencing 100% instability when I was just running on battery power.
So, as of now, I have no issues with Leopard.
@ Stacy – Yeah, other than that battery thing.
@ Camille – That’s what I thought you meant. 😉
I am still having some periodic issues since installing a Macbook firmware update, so I believe I must have some software incompatibilities somewhere. Ugh.
