We’re off to see “The DaVinci Code” this morning. Although the critics are slamming the film, the bloggers seem to think that it’s somewhere between good & really good. I’ll trust the bloggers.
Besides, The DaVinci Code has a special place in our lives, since Merrin was involved in the pre-release drafts, edits, and was featured in the NY Times release ad. (Forgot about that, didn’t ya?!)
After the movie, we’ve got to get packing…it’s off to the Virgin Islands tomorrow!
Dude, that’s so cool that Merrin reviewed it for the NY Times! I enjoyed the book, though it’s a bit silly IMO re: Jesus. I’m looking forward to the movie. Have you seen the discussion blog on The Da Vinci Code I’m helping with?
OK, so the bloggers were right – the movie was pretty good & true to the book!!
And thanks for the link, Rob!!
Good to hear. i’d hate to wast $20 on a couple of tickets for a letdown movie…again!
