Chef Merrin

OMG! Y’all would not believe the incredible dinner Merrin made for us last night. Listen to this: Lobster Thermador (yes, I’m serious!), Caeser Salad with her own, homemade dressing (uh-huh!), fabulous bruschetta, and a bottle of the fabulous 2000 Perrin Cotes du Rhone Reserve. WOW! Pretty good, right? It gets better. We ate on our fine, fine china with the newer linens and silver. She used the incredible candlesticks my grandparents gave us for our wedding. What a great candlelit dinner! For dessert, Merrin made a swirled chocolate mousse and had a nice sparkling wine to go with it.

I gotta tell you, I’m married to one hell of a woman (who’s also one hell of a good cook!) I have no idea what inspired all this, but I can tell you that I’m gonna come home early & cut the grass more often!
