ATTENTION PEOPLE OF DALLAS AND FORT WORTH:
The cities of Dallas and Fort Worth will be calling one million people today and giving them $10,000.00 cash if they are home to answer the phone. No voice mails or answering machines allowed. You must be home to win.
So everyone stay home today and cross your fingers for that phone call. Do not leave the house and clog up the road ways. And do not even consider going to the malls. You could miss the big money telephone call.
If you have any questions, you’ll have to get me on my cell because I’ll be at the mall doing my Chrismas shopping waiting for my free money call.
I repeat: STAY AT HOME. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR HOME. DO NOT GO SHOPPING.

I went shopping today with Shelby, and I have to say, it wasn’t all that bad. Maybe because I wasn’t in a huge hurry, and was enjoying my day with her and Miss Molly.
It’s not a question of waiting ’till the last minute as much as it is trying to pry gift ideas from the wife. Last night I got some tips from “Ms. Claus”, so I think I’ve got it figured out a little.
