Todd Miller has a post on his website with info on how to use large disks with TiVo. Before reading this, I was stuck in the “stone age” of TiVo upgrades – thinking that 120GB was the largest disk that the kernel would recognize. While that is technically still true, Todd has the low down on how to charge on past that and go with a drive as large as you like.
Great tip, seeing how Office Depot had a 160GB drive on sale for like $80 this weekend.
