I will never stop reading stories about heroes and being touched and renewed by the strength of their convictions. Especially when their beliefs enable me to live freely. We can never forget the sacrifices of our American service men and women. We can never forget the sacrifices of their families and loved ones.
Sometimes it hurts to focus our attention on the breadth of their sacrifices. To turn away, however, would be an insult to the honor of these brave Americans. Tonight, we are stronger as a country because of their actions. Thank you.
