Westin gets the ‘Apprentice’ treatment
Meanwhile, Westin, a unit of Starwood, confirms that its integration is scheduled for week No. 4. According to Sue Brush, svp, Westin Hotels and Resorts, the integration will be tied to the launch of a “brand new positioning for Westin around the concept of personal renewal.”
Westin will launch a new multimillion-dollar marketing campaign (TV, print, online and PR) the night its Martha Apprentice episode airs, currently scheduled for Oct. 12. The campaign will also feature the launch of a new Westin “product,” which will be tied to the competition between the two Apprentice teams, Brush said. She declined to provide specific details about the product placement.
