Roomba Doom-ba

So the power cord burnt up on the Roomba. I emailed the customer service and they’re “out of power cords”. Huh?! What?!

Even if that’s the case (and I believe it probably is), why not just go grab a defective unit or one set to ship & part it out? That’s not terribly uncommon and it’s great customer service. Otherwise, I’m likely to start a Roomba Doomba watch on my blog and mention every single day how iRobot can’t help me.

  1. The iRobot people are blog readers. Saw them in the ref logs for this post. Ironically, I got an email last night saying they had ordered a new charger. I should have it in a few days! 🙂

  2. I’m glad you were able to get it resolved. I love my little Roomba – he’s a good worker and he cracks me up while chasing Michael around the room. I need to know iRobot can help if he gets sick.
