The final results
OK. So I’m mostly done with my “weekend project” from a couple weekends ago. 🙂 As promised, I’m posting some before & after photos. The first two shots are from when we bought the house, with the awful shrubs. Everything else is the “after”. I still need to add a couple more plants and lay in the top mulch (cover up the soaker hose & all), but I’m pretty happy with it. Have a look! (Slide Show)
(Note: If the Slideshow link doesn’t work for you (MSN TV users, especially), I’ve loaded the photos in the Gallery.)
I could sit here and watch this all night long!!! For those interested, flash slide show is Todd’s fine work.
Yeah, I’d say it took about an hour. 😉
I am impressed. Can’t wait till we are done with our 20 acers 😀
WOW!!! WHAT AN IMPROVEMENT! AWESOME DESIGN! LOVE THE FLOWERS! BE CAREFUL, KEVIN, OR THE NEIGHBORS WILL WANT TO HIRE YOU TO DO THEIR LANDSCAPING! I’M PROUD OF YOU!
So Kev, your Mom likes to yell as much as mine does? Go figure. =)
It looks really nice. It’ll look even better around Christmas with lights up and so forth, if you guys do that.
I love the clean look of the lawn with just the touch of pizzaz! You done good, Kevin!
The slideshow is awesome. I watched it 4 times.
That’s my mother-in-law doing the yelling. 😉 Thanks, you guys. It really does make me very happy, but –as I said way back when– it’s all for Merrin. I just can’t wait until the fringe flower grows up a little & the baton rouge crepe myrtles start to really bloom.
Oh yay! That looks super, Kevin! 😀
Forget doing the neighbor’s landscaping, how’d you like a trip to the Buckeye state? Really nice work!
Very nice!! Very nice, indeed… I’ll send you directions to my house 🙂 Merrin,my kiddo, and I will hand you bricks, etc… Right, Merrin?
Nice “Curb appeal”.
Are the Coopers keeping up with you?
Actually I think we’re still trying to catch up with them. They had a pretty good head start.
